Well, I tried Medium and it did not work out for me. I can't use Stripe despite my country's eligibility. I won't repeat why it is so as it kills my joy of writing.

Then, I found Simily when it was like hotcakes at Beta stage where people are trying to promote it via Medium. I paid 69 dollars to try it for a year since January 2022.

Okay, so now it is near to October 2022. That will be another 3 months before I stop the membership. This far, I had received 2 payouts of $10 plus dollars over 2 months. So, every 2 months, I will be expecting about 10 dollars from the old articles' monetization.

It requires too much of effort and self-marketing if I want to invite readers via membership. Now I try to hunt for other platforms I can write and monetize by PayPal. Not sure if HubPages will work for me.

Well, I can relate to the excitement you must have felt on your first pay. It is like...some kind of small hope builds up within. Like something is working out alas!
