Reading Is A Way You And I Could Learn Something From Each Other

I aimed at 10 articles from writer-for-the-day to have a break from writing for a moment…but here I am writing, am I not?

Many people told me that when we wanted to have a breakthrough in life while being stuck somewhere, we needed a lot of repentance (tawbah). Little did they not realize how many people turned far away from their faith, judged like an unforgiven sinner.

I learned something through my ups and downs in life. You needed to believe that 1-time repentant prayer meant you got forgiven. Then, you needed to find the gratitude to be thankful for, as many as possible, which you could find, every day. Find anything to be thankful for. Daily.

As for that, my mentor Alberto García 🚀🚀🚀suggested starting a gratitude journal — 3 things to be grateful for daily. It seemed trivial. Sooner or later, we would realize the hidden treasures to be thankful for from every little moment.

Today, I would like to share with you some articles I felt thankful coming across it despite weeks after weeks of my energy drained. Among the gratitude, I would say today would be reading Mike’s articles.

Mike Lewis article was under the recommended list. Honestly, I felt afraid of the monkey in his profile picture. After reading that he lived in Thailand, I thought perhaps that monkey was from Thailand, too.

In Thailand, I had a row of monkeys chased after me when I climbed up the stairs because I wanted to see what was on the top hill. Since then, I had a phobia of wild monkeys.

Now, let’s look into his articles.

It was the 1st article I chanced upon from the recommended list by the algorithm. When I read this article, I realized that our difficult life differed to certain degrees from one another. But, those who came from a dysfunctional family would understand better from each other’s shoes.

Although I did not consume alcohol as a Muslim, this article made me ponder what his therapist once said. Maybe I had an emotional struggle with something else — coffee? Because it was through sugar in black coffee, my weight increased too much, plummeting me into a low self-esteem.

Although the currency in Yemen was as good as no value in the world, things sold there were expensive too. The grass was never greener over the other side of the world. There were good and bad, being anywhere in the world. Mike shared his experiences in Thailand.

I liked this article not because I knew how life was between Ukraine and Russia. What made me read it was the reaction I had when I first read someone’s else article about the war.

I got up and started google Maps for the location of Spain. Because my mentor Alberto Garcia lived in Spain and I heard Ukraine had been part of Europe. How closed for Spain was that?

I slept after seeing that Spain was not near to Ukraine, knowing my mentor was safe. I will remember Ukraine in my prayers.

I learned that everything started from small. In the 1st 2-weeks, I earned $1.60 from the MPP. That was a fast track to me. I saw the potential of earning more, but Stripe did not work for me in the end.

I wrote in Simily recently. I stopped writing for about 2-weeks when I got occupied with my parents’ Jerusalem travel. In 30-days, I earned $5.40, whereas another person already earned the minimum threshold of $10.

Everything started from a small beginning. Rome was not built in 1-day. I tried to remember this as often as I could these days.

I sticked to these 5-articles out of the 10, which I had read. You might want to drop by Mike’s articles and find what resonated with you. This post acted as a form of gratitude and reflections I made. I would not make any cents from your reading time or comments engagement here. But, I appreciated you.

Dear Mike, thank you for sharing anything out of your authenticity in life experiences. Your articles were like a buddy to me as I went through some hurdles in life right now. Thank you so much.
