My parents don't teach me this as they were unsure themselves. My dad settled it when I was young. When I started working under the govt industry the employees didn't need to file their tax as it is automatically done by the company. Now I am trying to seek help in understanding the tax process for earning from medium. As alien I had filled up W-8BEN form as I don't live in the US. My country Singapore don't have tax treaties with the US. After filling up the form and submitting just for partner program, I have no information how the tax would be asked for payment. Are we going to receive a certain mail or email of payment when the time is up, or are we supposed to file it online by ourselves in IRS website? I saw statement in the tax information form stating to ask a tax professional if I do not understand anything. But which tax professional should I ask from? Singapore or the US? These are very unclear for me that I am wondering who to go to. I want to do it right. Do you have any information about this?
