Love this description, Lucy Socha. And I miss you too. Miss reading your articles. I admired those who work painstakingly and can battle their eyelids as well as tired body to write. Anyway, yes.
As an identity of a Muslim, I am wrapped like a candy sweet wrapper. Due to the nature of my country, some jobs required uniform codes and we are flexible to off the headscarf during work, and put on when we are off duty. So, life is easy. But, I noticed that some handsome men got excited whenever they saw me without my headscarf. It made me wonder, if anyone of them were to be with me, would they get disappointed on what's inside too once the wrapper is all gone.
But I guessed...I met men who are good looking in the uniform like navy seals etc or business suits. However I saw their teddy bear fats when they removed the uniform of jackets. So, bottom line is it all depends on the individual's mindset and values. Interesting.
I met a lot of women who struggle with weight issues and I am also affected. The World seems to see thin as the ideal size. And those women who are not thin are indeed gorgeous looking.
I cannot imagine mothers who just gave birth need to battle emotional impact of their post natal pregnancy...
But this guy you mentioned here critizing the woman...he was too unkind.
