It's true. The other Chinese lady who worked as a housekeeper in the day shift also used her handphone every now and then. Whenever she saw the bosses walked in especially my GM, she would put aside her phone and folded the napkins slowly. Then, when they left the room, she would look at her phone again. It wasn't messages about her dad all the time, but other stuffs too.

Everyone would use the handphone no matter what.

My bosses used for business matters, like reservations or guests or event bookings.

Yesterday, one of my friends from another restaurants shared with me that we could buy the apple or samsung watch, link to our handphone. We could access it without obvious use of the phone and our bosses wouldn't notice it obviously.

Oh well, Freda* told me she felt liberated after she was fired. She felt stress free and happy that she was no longer working the restaurant.
