It is not necessary a must to monetize via Medium. I see this platform as a potential for publishing firms to cast their net on potential authors or writers. This platform is a practice and engagement networking. Knowing another platform offers Paypal services being used, I don't see the reason why we don't try it out.

Well, I do not know how fast or slow Simily may evolve. It may be better and it may not be any better. Backing up the stories there to somewhere else is necessary if you do intend to create an e-book or something later on.
