I like it in Medium and I am comfortable in this platform. But, I am not earning here. So, it become just a writing practice and where I get to read more as long as I still have the patience to read.

I second with you that Simily is not helping us earn much with just 2 cents. I am on my 3rd month the earning is only closed to 7 dollars. When I had no issue yet using Stripe for Medium, 2 weeks got me $1.60, almost double of Simily if it makes to 3-months.

Thus, I recommend Medium if anyone wants to make a bit of monetization. I did not write in Simily for 2 weeks in recent month, and there was no change in the monetization. Just stagnant. =D

I definitely looking out for other avenues, probably Hubpages, soon.
