He also knows that woman wants to feel secure and financially free instead of being depended upon for help, which is the case of many Asian men who marries to 'combine' finance otherwise the mother-in-law choses a wife for his son with a good pay scale so that her son is not burden financially. So, for Blue, he is financially stable and good, and he has time management in his hands, too.

But what I see is his way of interpreting the religious context that woman must not be neglected in sexual desires upon marriage, because that may cause her to be lack of self-control. This usually happens in the mindset of typical rigid ones.
