I can relate to this article when I lived in Yemen. There was no direct converter between Singapore dollars and Yemen riyals. 100 USD is equals to 300,000 Yemen Riyals. During good fluctuation you may get 100USD = 340 000 Yemen Riyals.

That could last you around 2 to 3 months being thirfty but subsequently, the prices were charged high when the local knew I was from Singapore. They did take advantage of prices especially when they knew we were Asians or it happened during lack of fuel in the country yearly. So everyday was conversion day for me. I can relate.

Anyway, yes that was an expensive yoga matt. In Singapore I could get it around 10 dollars to 20 dollars. That would be 5 to 10 euros!
